Today, 2021-07-20, between 15:21 and 16:17 CEST, I/O operations accessing our object storage in region RMA intermittently failed with HTTP status code 503, or timed out. Within this timeframe, the same issue occurred in singular cases when accessing our object storage in region LPG.
The investigation by our engineers showed an unusual access pattern of legitimate requests to be the root cause of this behavior. Measures have been taken for our systems to serve this specific access pattern. Since 16:17 CEST, no further issues have been detected.
